I'm currently in the tear out stage on my Amerigo project but I've begun to compile lists and vendors for the parts I'm going to need.

I need to locate some "cool" wallboard for the interior. What they have at Lowes and Home Depot are a bit bland. I'm hoping to find some that I don't have to ultimately paint.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Lots of different materials are available as wall paneling, just depends on how much $$ you want to spend.
Eg: embossed leather

Whatever you do, try to keep the old panels to use as templates for the new ones, it will save a lot of work.

The original ones were removed and replaced with poorly fitted ones. They were so ill fitting that it wasn't even worth trying to save them. Luckily it's a small trailer so ... there will only be a few arguments and wrong cuts

Thanks

I LIKE that! I've gotta bookmark that for the someday when I totally rebuild the Fiber Stream.

I did my Ventura in 5/16 knotty pine. It wasn't too expensive about $6.50 a package. Looks and smells great, nothing like real wood.

The pine isn't too bad weight wise, I used about 18 packs at about 9lbs /pack so about 160lbs less offcuts (about15- 20 lbs). The cabinet doors on my trailer were heavy 1/2" particle board and probably weight close to 60lbs themselves. No trouble towing it but did not weight it before or after.
