Is there a "Flat Floor" Boler?

I'm only familiar with how the floor on the boler/scamp in dropped in the center but I read something online recently that said some older boler's may have a different frame/floor and that if you were to remove the benches/cabinets etc you would be left with a completely flat floor. Other than I suppose you would still have the wheel wells sticking out. Is this true? Does anyone have any info on what years/models have this flat floor? This would be ideal for the type of remodel I would like to do. Also are there any disadvantages to this type of floor? Lower ceiling height maybe...

Thanks
Mike

As far as I've seen, all Bolers and Scamps have a dropped center floor. Some early units did not have the dropped-floor center compartment under the front gaucho for porta-potty storage. That might be what you were hearing.

I take it you are looking for a vintage 13' project shell with a completely flat floor...

I think it likely that something out there might fit the bill, but I don't know off-hand what it is. Hunter? Cadet?

Here is a pic of the frame that came off the flat floor bowler in question.

Also, this is a pic of the front area. It looks to me like the floor is flat under the benches.

Found some better pics a few more pages into his article. As far as I can tell the floor looks flat...

If you are looking for a 13' Egg with a flat floor, the Lil' Bigfoot is an option, flat as as can be... And I have seen it written several times that they were made from the original Boler molds. Here's a link to pics of one I referbed

Very interesting… that 1979 is a very late Boler, I think.

I thought the Lil Bigfoot had a step-up into the dinette, but obviously it doesn't.

Thanks for setting me straight!

Interesting, I thought 1979 was pretty old. I was born in 1978 . What year did they stop making them?

Made me look, and I'm wrong again.

According to the information in the Boler manufacturer link, they made them until 1988.
