Twice now as I am finishing up my casita camper shower the water shuts off to the shower, but it still works in the sink just fine, and the shower knob goes up and down just fine. Just no more water out of the shower nossle. Still could not get it to work the next morning.either.
Wondering if they have installed a timer on the shower so one only takes a "quickie" shower??? Luckily I can finish getting the soap off of the body with a couple pans of water, but just the same,
I am wondering if this is supposed to happen?
Is this another repair for camper world?
Thanks

There is not timer so I would think that one of two things is happening...
1. You are accidently turning off the water to the shower head at the head. On the back of the shower head, you can turn off the water by turning the flat disk shaped thingie.... or
2. The faucet plug is not staying up so the water reverts back to the sink fixture.

Have you looked at both of those?

I wonder if a valve in the system (maybe the diverter which Chris mentioned, or just the shower faucet) has a rubber gasket (washer) which is swelling in the hot water, and shutting off flow. That can be a problem with old rubber bits, although completely shutting off seems extreme, and it should clear up by the next morning.

Karalyn, how are you getting the shower to work the next time, if it is still non-functional the next morning?

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.

Chris, I would think I am turning off the shower head at the head. I did not know there was a turn off there. When done showering I place my towel over the shower head to catch any dripping. I think I might bump the shower head enough to turn it back on for the next shower. I will be checking that, and thanks so much for the answer. I am not very observant I guess.
Hopefully I will have a nice longer shower from now on.
