Thanks for the reminder. In some of our local stores, Festivus decorations were up before Thanksgiving ! Then all the little Festivus Craft Fairs were in every park and social hall.!

( If you don't know Festivus, Google Festivus or look on Youtube. It was on 'Seinfeld ' and is not an attack on Christmas, just a light hearted look at our sometimes maddening season. Don't make it political ! ! )

David , celebrating Festivus in Fresno and Sonora

For Festivus, we strung LED lights inside Peanut. All our neighbors put lights on their houses and front trees...but not us, by golly! Now to make that list of how my family members have disappointed me this year...

Later, the feats of "strenth!"

maybe old or may not be but I think the re-runs that can still be found are probably not watched...To much good clean humor for the last 2 generations to enjoy....if someone isn't burping for farting or dissing someone it's not funny now-a-days
Keep telling the wife...now-a-days, they're not wrong...we are.... but
I still open doors for my wife and get alot of strange looks.
I still take my cap off when I enter indoors.
And I still stand when I hear the National Anthem.

Gerry, We watch many reruns and the old black and white movies because of all the new crap that is on TV these days. In the movies listen for the word Swell as in "You are really swell" and other oldtimey words that are not used anymore.

Art Vandelay, the Marketing Tycoon, has a special internet price on the Fesitvus pole.

Is that imported or exported?

Don't remember the Chips!?!

Of course, those poles must be both imported AND exported...

Serenity Now was an idea that had both come and gone for the Costanzas...

Any ideas what you're serving for Festivus? The Festivus spaghetti or the Festivus Meatloaf, or...? And can you cook it in your FGRV?
