Just a little worried,roof sag

Hello everyone, like the title says I am a little worried about some sag I have in the roof of my Trillium,I remember there being some sag when I first got it but I never really worried about it until last week when we had a huge snowfall and I came back from seeing my girlfriend for a few days and there was alot of snow and ice on the roof of my trailer.I know the vent will be need to be re-sealed as I see what appears to be caulking of some sort around it and I think it is leaking, anyway here's my question,if I don't address the sag and I leave it alone but reseal the vent the proper way with butyl tape and I find some way to keep the snow and ice off of it,will I be alright?I guess what I am saying is can I leave it that way and not worry about it as long as I don't allow it to get worse?.I am just afraid of wrecking the roof by trying to fix something that will only be ruined by the attempted repair. So I am in need of opinions badly as I am very new to these FG campers,I put some pictures in so you can see for yourselves what I am talking about. When I am inside the trailer it is not really all that noticeable,I mean it doesn't sag down 10 inches or anything but I am worried, the parts I am looking at in case you can't really see in the pictures is the sag in front of the bar near the front of the trailer and the sag in the rear, thanks in advance to all who can offer advice and thank you for reading this long post.

Well first I have to ask, what is that bar on the roof about?
I have not seen that before but it looks like someone has already explored what you are asking about?

I would get a pole or 2x4 and just stick it inside to return the roof to normal and let it stay there while you are not using the trailer.
Maybe more than 1 depending on how bad and how many spots seem to sag on their own.
I think I would position it right under the bar outside and see if the roof looks better with it in.

On my Trill 1300 I installed shelves inside above the windows and then jacked the roof up somewhat with little braces from the shelves. It seemed to redistribute some of the roof load to the walls and shelves and my vent puddle went away outside too.

Hope that makes some sense?

Hi Ed,thanks for the reply,I have an awning for the Trillium but I never used it as I never had a need for it(I use a screenhouse) so could it be possible that the bar is some sort of tie off for the awning?I think I saw some pictures of what you did with the shelves in a different post although I haven't been able to find it again. And yes what you say makes sense to me,so between the saggy roof, leaky windows and belly band pulling away from the body in some spots it looks like I will have my work cut out for me and I had better get started soon if I want to make it out for at least the May 24 weekend.Well thanks for your ideas Ed it is much appreciated, take care for now

The bar on the roof does seem a little strange - not sure how or why it would be needed for any awning.....

The suggestion of using putting a couple of two by four's in a T shape inside the trailer is a good one for folks living in areas where snow load can be a problem. Someone in our local fiberglass group had the roof of their boler cave in a couple of winters ago when we had a heavy snow fall.

What Ed said, I have a semi trailer load lock that I cut down to fit a pick up truck bed, I use it to support the roof while parked .I have a slight sag near my roof vent.

Thanks everyone for the advice I will be using the 2x4 idea, although I like the load lock idea a little more, so once I am able to I will probably get one, from looking around the net they can be had for a half decent price thanks again for the help everyone, much appreciated
