Just a thank you folks

I have been humbled by the helpful responses from folks here in this Fiberglass RV Club. Strangers helping strangers. I have wanted a fiberglass camper for so long, and recently jumped on one I could afford. I love it, however it has many problematic areas. I am trying to work on as much of it as I can myself. This would not have been possible without your advice, encouragements and willing to share your own stories. Even though we are strangers, we share some commonalities. This is a valuable group of folks, kind of rare these days. Please know this means a lot to me. It makes you want to give back in the ways that you can.
Thank you. D. Davis

Just hope we haven't caused you too much confusion. Take in all the advice, figure out what works best for you, and go with it. Take your time, think things through, and pick away at the problems a little at a time. Or, win the lottery and that will fix all problems!! We still have things to fix on our camper, but it's very useable as is, and it will be taking another 2500 mile trip in April. Enjoy your Uhaul. Bob

You have learned a lot already. I have no doubt you will have that UHaul whipped into shape by camping season.

Right back at you Diane.
Wait till you meet some of at a Rally sometime.
As long as you are having fun that is what matters.
I still sleep in my own driveway sometimes for the heck of it.

Diane, there's a whole lot of kind people here who are more than willing to share experiences and tips. Someday you'll be an old hand and will be able to give your own advice to people. And, it will happen quicker than you thought!

As you fix your Uhaul up, post pix and how-tos. In that way, you are helping others.

Welcome to the Uhaul family. Hopefully, we can meet at a rally some time.

Thanks Guys, I am working on the camper today (May have help). I have read the repair and parts manual four times, your advice, read the 12 volt side of life and other things, ordered parts and want to Get R Done! Other fixes later. Hoping to meet you all one day at a rally! That would be so wonderful!

I feel the same about this site. When I first started thinking about a FGRV, I found it by accident. A great group of very friendly peeps in here!

very cool. always stay open to advice from others. but also,,,use what works for you. if your a good woodworker, use those skills to solve problems. or if you crafty, go that way. half the fun of working on things is making them your own. that includes your own genius.....and your own ,,,,"hmmmm ,,,maybe i shouldn't have done that"...
any thing you can mess up, you can learn from, and redo.
