Well, the inside looks a lot like a Compact II. But the outside sure doesn't!
Ours has trapezoidal windows on the side and a distinct "foam take-out box" profile.

Wow, nice find. The avocado stove does sort of pin it to the '70s.
And a second K-line just showed up. How unlikely is that?

The shell is an extremely close match for the Trails West Campster. The Campsters a had radius corner windows. But all the other details are the same including the size of the pop up roof, the wheel wells, how the body is contoured, etc. I suspect someone was busy cloning one of these either from an existing shell or purchased their shells from the same fiberglass fabricating company.

I know from an article I read that the Trails West Campster company bought the shells from a fiberglass fabrication company. So that seems the likely answer, both companies purchased them from the same source. Or at least purchased molds from the same source.

Susan Knopp, daughter of the gentelman wh started the company in Red Deer Alberta did mention it was a small company and to source out fibreglass shells from the US is not out of the possibilities. The process and mold size would make it a very difficult undertaking for a smaller company.

The company was around for three years in Alberta. One of the brothers who started it died suddenly. This was the reason the company was closed down so fast. Great product, great idea. Bad luck!
