Kitchen Gray Water

I have a 1980 restored Scamp 16'. The Bath sink empties into the gray water tank below. It is located on the left/Street side in front of the wheel well. The Kitchen sink line on the curb side goes to a male hose fitting. I run a hose (female on each end) to a sewer connection which has a male connection on the front. If I do not have sewer hookup I run it to a bucket.

Does anyone know if this was the OEM setup for the Scamp at that time? I have considered running a line from the kitchen sink to the gray water tank, but it would mean removing the tank to install the inlet line.

Only the bathroom sink runs to the gray water tank? That's strange. I would think of the two, the kitchen sink would make better use of the waste water tank....

Sorry, can't answer your OEM question. The kitchen sink in my 1988 Scamp drains to the gray water tank and I don't have a bathroom sink.

My 92 has the kitchen sink running to the main grey water tank. The bathroom sink was added by the PO and it also goes to the grey water tank.
