Kitchen Sink Water lines -Repair/Replace?

Testing water lines -needed new city water inlet - that's done (what a pain) finally got water to sink only to find that the PO has squeezed the existing compression rings on the water lines and crimped/deformed the fittings - tees & elbows. The lines were plastic tubing rigid, the hardware store has the new red or blue plastic tubing - different system. What should I replace/repair the lines with? I only have cold, no W/H, no pump either after Tom gave me such good pump info. While flooding the trailer once again, it was nice that my drain lines worked perfectly. Added 1-1/2" valve at drain line, no surprizes now when I hookup hose
The 16 gal. tank to no where, the fill is good, the drain has been replaced & works, found no trace of pump or connection to sink. Just a tank with an in & out no idea how PO used it. I added tee in drain line & put in ""rocket"" pump at sink.

Took my unit to local RV repair shop where they installed my sway bar & fixed my water lines - have city water to cold & capped off the hot. They had Pex system parts. Great job - $69

I used the older soft hose style, pex is better, but for the amount of lines I was running, it would have been very tough, and I've already taken it apart a few times, so I was glad it wasn't pex. I figure the old hose made it for 28 years, that's good enough.

Whether you use hose and barbed fittings, or pex and crimp fittings, I will only use brass fittings.

If you want to install a 12v pump, I would just put a 1/2" line in your tank where you have your current t, and run that to your pump, and put a reducer t in before the pump to feed your hand faucet. I put my pump under the sink, it saved me from running an extra hose under there, it's easy to get to, and it's pretty well ruined for storage, anyway (at least in my camper).
