Leak

Help!! When it rains, the rug under the sink gets wet. It seems to be coming from under the wall of the bathroom. I have caulked the top of the trailer, all the rivet buttons, all the pipes on top and it still leaks, any suggestions or ideas on where this water is coming from?

The stove vent? The bathroom window? (does the bathroom window have weep holes like the bigger windows do?)

finding the leak

Have you tried poking around under the sink during a rainstorm to see if you can see it dripping down somewhere? I don't have a Casita, but what vents, access panels etc are located in that vicinity? Chances are the water is getting in at one of them and then running either along the bottom of the sink or the outside of a wire or hose or something.

Isn't the stove vent the closest?
It might be going down behind the sink unit.

my leaks

I found all my leaks by rolling up paper towel and making a line of them around the inside base of where I thought it was leaking. Then I watched. I could easily see where the towels got wet an found the leaks above that spot.

Tom,

When you say you waited and watched, was that until it rained again or did you have someone hose off the trailer.

I personally would have sat there and waited for the next rain....

That really is a good idea tho.
