I would like to replace my 12 volt bulbs with led lighting. The ones I am considering come with different bases including the bayonet that I need.I am confused. How do I attach the lighting unit to the fixture. These leds are fromV-LEDS.Is ist just a matter of switching bulbs or do I need to be concerned about a different wiring hookup. Any help would be appreciated....Thanks,Pat.

With LED units you can just lay them in the outlet against the diffuser. Just for yuks I tried velcroing them to the reflector, but the board wouldn't stay. Maybe I needed industrial velco to resist the vibration. The LED's don't get hot enough to bother the plastic diffuser.

You shouldn't have to change the wiring at all. On some earlier units, if the LEDs didn't come on you just rotated the bayonet 180 degrees. That doesn't seem to be problem anymore.

Also,
I'm a man, but I can change, if I have to, I guess.

Thanks Steve.I was not sure just how to mount the lights, and I really did not want to change wiring(not good at that type of thing,LOL) so you have answered both my questions and I will go ahead and place an order for the lights..... Thanks again.Pat.
