Hi--

I just took delivery of an '84 Burro 13 footer that is in totally mint condition, except that it's missing an oval, amber-colored lens cover for the turn signal. (Or maybe it's just a running light--it's located on the side, near the front.) So far an ebay and internet search hasn't yielded any results. Anybody know a good place to look for such a thing?

Thanks,
Leslie

The amber running lights are still around but scarce. I have found close matches at some truck stops.
The tail lights are really rare. I found one ( only one darn it) in South Dakota on the bottom shelf under a bunch of junk at an RV place.
You have to keep your eyes open.

If i had to start over again I would just go for the newer LED types.

I'm not sure if all of the lights on my '85 Burro were stock but I saw my running lights at every place that carried trailer lights...Tractor Trailer Supply, Wal-Mart, local hardware store.

I went to the local truck stop and they had the same oval running lights in LED. So I bought four of them at 9.99 each...2 red and 2 yellow. They are soooo cool.

Also, bought 4" led tail, stop, turn lights on Ebay. They did not come with mounting hardware, only a rubber grommet. I pulled off the old cake style lens from original tail light and the new led lights fit inside perfectly. So I cut a hole in the back metal plate that attaches to egg to allow the led plugs to fit and mounted the whole assembly onto the egg. Mixed the old with the new. Works like a charm!

The ones up front are running lights and are standard Bargman lenses. Any RV store will have them for under 5 bones.
