Little Help? Where to buy dust covers for AC/Water Fill Etc.

Hello All,

I am renovating a 13ft '76 Ventura. It's a bit of a project to be certain.
All the

I'm trying to figure where to get replacements
(does not have to look original) for the little hatches that hide the AC cord, Water Tank Fill hole, Shore Water hose hookup ect.

The previous owners have managed to bust them all and paint over them. (ugh). Water is getting in there.

I am already fibreglassing some cracks / holes before painting so should take advantage and changed these now. I can make the holes bigger/smaller as required.

I'm not fussy but I can't seem to even guess the proper names for these things to do a good google/ebay search.

Little help?

My 1971 trailer has a city water inlet that is this older style. You will need to purchase a separate water pressure controller to put on the end of your exterior hose if you use this type of water inlet.

My trailer also has this older style of gravity water filler, this is the way to fill up your tank if you need to use a bucket or pour water in from a portable container.

Welcome to FGRV Ross. All those fittings are available at any RV supply store. If you're trying to keep it original.....maybe not.

My 1973 Compact Jr has a Camco 37002 water fill. Looks like a small cup with a flip up lid. It has the same city water connection as K.C. linked.

Camco 37002 Flush Mount Fill Spout from UnbeatableSale at SHOP.COM

It has this electric cord hatch.

Ross, I see you're in Alberta. You may want to shop Canadian stores due to S&H, etc. Maybe this would be a good place to start: Princess Auto Princess Auto has all kinds of RV stuff.

Thanks for the welcome all.

Inlet - That's the word I was looking for. There's lots to choose from online (ebay etc) when you know what the thing is called.

I'm not one to waste time and fuel going store-to-store shopping for what might be found.

I learned my lesson the other day when I drove to Airdre to pick up something. I then learned that buying online the shipping to my door would have only been $10. It would cost me $20 for the drive not to mention a good piece of my day.

I did need to specify the word "inlet". In the marine stores there are two versions of the water fitting. One the two versions is an "outlet" that gets used for deck washing with a hose.

Same for the electrical fittings inlet is the keyword for power going into the interior.
