So happy the Scamp made it out to you safe and sound!! I knew when we first saw her in Anoka that someone on this site would enjoy owning her - glad she found a good home with you! Keep us posted, if you will, on how everything turns out.

Looking at the front look under the front edge. Mine has a metal piece sticking out on either side. This metal has a screw in it and I think this may be all that hold it in. ( I have not tried this )

Thanks Bill. It actually isn't "attached" so much as "wedged". It's in the cupboard under the sink, sitting on a shelf. I can lift it up and tip it but, I can't figure out how they got it in the cupboard. I think I need to wait for my mathmatically gifted husband to get home to get it out.

Thanks so much! I have told everyone I know about the story of how I got the camper. Was truely a group effort. I will post pictures soon. I have already torn the whole thing apart and cleaned, vacumed, windexed, 409'd, goo-goned....removed unwanted shelving...yes, I am a bit of a freak! I will post pictures as soon as I figure out how to do it!!!

NO WAY are you a freak!!! That is what all good fiberglass camper owners do. Sometimes we just sit in it and look around smiling to ourselves (then we see something else we want to do and get moving again!)

We've said this before on here---it's kinda like a little play house (or fort for the guys!) and it's just so darned cute and fun! I bet you have a million ideas in your head. Has the bedtime syndrome hit? Where you go to bed and your mind starts spinning with plans and ideas and questions---and then you have to kiss your beauty sleep good-bye?

I'm so excited for you---you saw what you wanted, figured out a way to get it--and there you go!!!

Vicki, yes all of what you say is true! I have had sleepless nights before the camper was even here. I was so excited to see the Scamp "parts" department. I didn't know you could just order up shiney new bits! I have a mental list going. My 10 year old son and I hung out in the camper most of the day today. He loves the upper bunk! My husband hasn't quite jumped on board yet...I'm going to need him as he is extremely handy!!
