Lyster lock inside locking pin

My 1979 Boler uses the Lyster lock. Mine is in great shape except I am missing the part that is used to lock the door from the inside. Does anyone know either where I can get one or how to rig something? I do want to eventually overnight at a Walmart when traveling and be able to lock the door while I am sleeping. I know I could modify with a deadbolt but I just need something to deter and give me prep time to properly "greet" my unwanted guest.

A simple eye screw in the door, and a hook on the door frame, like for a screen door?

Can you post of photo of what that part looks like? Perhaps I can suggest the way to fabricate a suitable replacement part.

I am wondering if that is the same door lock on my 1980 Sunrader. a photo will let me know if your lock is the same one. They are actually many fairly simple to fabricate parts in them. One member from another forum who had that lock was able to take it to her local locksmith and get it repaired for a quite reasonable price.
