Mice

Just to let people know- If you put drops of peppermint oil inside of camper, it will keep mice away. I have even used peppermint candy but not sure if it will attract ants

i have heard of this and also citrus oils which I use in our lake home.
It is in rural and wooded area so mice have always been a problem.
These oils seem to have kept the mice away.
I put a few drops on tisuues and lay the tissues around the house and in cabinets.
Our trailers are at our home in town so havent had a problem with mice so far.

I use mothballs in our Scamp when not in use. The smell gives critters a headache. When we travel I have to keep the mothballs outside - my DW does not tolerate the smell either.

Also I hang a bag with a few of those in the engine compartment of our cars. My truck had some sensor wires chewed once by chipmunks and it cost me $200 and a delayed departure on one of our camping trips. The delay bugged me more than the cost.
