Mildew AND rot

I am totally freaking out. it was bad enough to find the 12" strip of rotten wood the entire width of the trailer but now after taking our the back benches I find mold. I only see it on the under side of the fiberglass benches but the water leak has clearly run from the back all the way to the wheel wells. I knew there would be work to do but now to get rid of mold and try to fix this floor. I'm stuck. Maybe I just need to take a break for the rest of the day.

The only saving grace might be that the rotten floor is the raised part under the dinette. If we have to replace flooring is it possible to just replace the floor to the step up? the raised floor under the dinette?

Should I go ahead and take it to the "trailer man" for inspection and evaluation Monday or should I figure out what to do about the floor first.

Figure out what you need to do to the floor first. You can replace just the rear portion, chances are you may have to replace the other portions as well.

The same thing for your bench supports. Both are part of your "unibody frame". Have a look at what others have done to replace their floors. Research, make a decision then do it. The job looks bigger than it is.
