Motor for 5th wheel landing legs?

Has anyone put one of these on their 5th wheel? I am currently using a
battery drill to do the light work.<_<

Landing gear motor

What model number is the atwood motor you are using, so I know which one to buy on ebay? I see several model# and don't want to buy the wrong one. I know my gearbox is a atwood.

Thx, John

Pictures and install would be great. Thinking about converting mine also. Do you need the motor and gear box with the switch? Haven't looked at mine closely so not sure how it hooks up.

Scamp Landing Gear.....

Its so simple it's funny. Took longer to solder the wires than the mechanical part. Here is what I bought. I could of used my old gearbox but hey, may as well install a new gearbox at the same time that matches the set for this price. My original gearbox was an Atwood, 10 years old (2004 Scamp)and noticed some slop in it anyway when I got it off.
The switch style is important part and looks good attached to the side of the Scamp. So again The whole kit is the way to go. And it came in two days.

First you need to use a floor jack & a 4x4 to get the weight off the legs. All you need for tools is a couple wrenches to take the bar off that goes across to the passenger side leg. The old gearbox slides off, the new one slides on the motor comes with two bolts that attach it to the gearbox and put your bar back on as you took it off. Mount your switch next to the crank handle hole by using a small hole saw that will allow the switch to set flush, run the two short wires (48") that say BAT to the battery, red (has a 30 amp fuse inline)to positive, black to negative. The two long wires (84") go to the motor. Red-red.........Black - black or if your switch responds backwards, you can reverse these wires, I had to. Ready to go! Don't have a host to sends pics but I can email a couple to anyone.

I will love the sound of the battery operated drill putting the Scamp fver on the back of the Tundra come later this month in Iowa. She will be coming home to her new Montana home in Eastern Montana and this Big Girl will be going to someone else. The 32' foot 5th wheel was the U-haul. Good Lord, I was hauling out of that thing for days into the house. No problem hauling it fully loaded with a 2007 half ton Tundra.

Received my motor kit in yesterday. Took about an hour to install. No more cranking now. Thanks John for the info on the one from EBay.
