Mystery Switch in Head

We recently purchased a 2008 21 ft front bed Bigfoot and in the head next to the toilet there is a switch whose function is a mystery to us. All of the research we have done leads us to two possible options (although there could be some other functions that we are not aware of): we think it is either a switch to change the hot water tank to electric mode or to turn on the heater for the holding tanks. Can anyone shed light on this mystery?

What about the drain pump for the shower?
Does it make any noise when switched on?

Mystery Switch.

It is probably for the front outside light below the window to illuminate the hitch area, just above the propane tanks.

Might be for the water pump. I had a class C with switches in the bath and kitchen, very convenient.

Thanks for the reply, Dave. We were hoping that, however testing ruled it out...

Mystery switch

Shower sump. The pump is exposed under trailer and connections have a tendency to get corroded. Use a test lamp to see if you have power to the pump. Or a jumper wire to run 12 volt power direct to pump to see if it is working. My guess is you don’t have power to the pump or bad pump so no matter how many times you flip the switch nothing will happen.

Good luck

On my 17' bigfoot the outside front light switch is next to the kitchen counter behind the dinette bench seat. Took me a little while to figure this out. I wouldn't think they would put such a switch in the bathroom.

Thanks - that seems pretty likely. We are dry camping and using the campground showers, but I will go under and check that.
