I am in the process of selling my Casita following the death of my husband. I have made numerous efforts to find some replacement rivets and caps for the exterior where the sun has shrunk the caps and they have come off. I need help as to where I might find these...size and installation info, also.

Secondly, also, need vent caps for the roof pipes exposures. Can someone help me as to where I can find these.

I have been in contact with Casita and was told I best bring it in but I live 970 miles from Rice, TX. Others have told me these are common repairs that I can find anywhere....but where is anywhere. Hopefully out there in the Casita community there are others who have had similiar needs and can be of help. Thank you.......

You can buy the supplies direct from Casita. Fast and friendly service. As far as the actual work, I hear it's DIY........ Can't comment on that because I haven't had to do it. But I am sure you will find the info here on, how to.

Good Luck! Sorry for your loss.......

I don't understand why Casita could not ship replacement rivets and caps to you? Installation could be done by anyone who's handy, I think... last I heard, it was not brain surgery.

Perhaps someone here will know of another supplier, though.

One of the nice and most educated Casita modifier and repair person's I've read about is Larry Gamble. He's really approachable when it comes to questions. See his website here: Little House Customs

Vent caps are available from lots of RV parts houses, including online. Also Camping World.
