Need a Window Screen

Hi all,
One of our windows in a Compact II lacks a screen. Has anyone created a trapezoidal-shaped window frame with screening material? I'm thinking to make a frame from thin wood and attach screen to it. Then use velcro to keep it in place when we need to keep that window open.
Another idea is to find some kind of stiff, porous material, like a furnace filter , cut it to the shape of the window, and pop it in when we need ventilation.

Thanks,
Fran

You might try and "source" which RV window company makes the windows for your trailer, (perhaps contact the folks at Compact,) and then call the window company. If you can give them a window model number, or some other identifying info, they may be able to provide you with a replacement one.

Greg Compact has been out of business for years. They will have to make the screens or have a hardware store make some for them.

Sorry, I didn't know they weren't in business anymore, (I have a Casita,) but perhaps the company that made the windows may still be in operation. There's usually an identification sticker somewhere on the window frame, but it may be hidden by the inside trim ring. If you can find some identifying markings, they may still be able to conjure up a replacement screen. Just a thought...
