have been looking every where i could think of as to where they sell RV/trailer lights and no luck.

I have to replace both tail lights as the originals are crumbling.

I just replaced the tail lights on my 1977 Surfside with LED lights {clearance lights as well } I purchased them at Canadian Tire , installation was simple . New holes had to be drilled for mounting but the electrical was simple . Tail light cost was about $80 and clearance lights about $20 each again installatoin of clearance lights was simple . Hope this helps Bob !

any special ones, or any that fit they original spot as i have a custom paint job and would hate to have to paint around the light fixtures to cover/fill in any unpainted area.

The tail lights are 8 inches by 3 inches , the clearance lights are 4 inches by 2 inches . The clearance lights are the same size as my originals , the tail lights are a little smaller than my original , my paint job is the original so the difference is not an issue . The original lights have a white backplate , so you may be able to paint a small white border around the new ones and look quite good . Good luck Bob
