need replacement fridge element for 2200A

we bought a 1986 casita deluxe recently and really like it.
I have ran into a problem with old dometic fridge.
It works fine on propane, had it on today to test. 92 degrees in trailer and 66 degrees in fridge. even made ice, this was only over 4 hour period

It won't heat with elec or battery. this was in driveway hooked up to 110. I did this last week when it was cooler, over 24 hour period
I checked both elements 12volt and 110 volt with VOM, wires unhooked and both elements show open. Thermostats and wireing checks out fine.
I am understanding this element is not avalable anymore. I really don't need 12 volt but the original is a 12/110v .
What I am looking for is a replacement element for it or a 110 element that will fit this older unit.
I don't want to replace refrigerator, it is fine, just the element
I can't find any info on element size or avalability online, but sure could use some help on this problem.

I'd suggest getting the refrigerator model and serial number and start an on line search for new or used parts.

Did you contact Dometic directly?

i have been searching online and haven't find a element yet, thats why i am wanting to modify and just use a 110 volt unit, I don't use 12 volt anyway.
I thought maybe someone had already done this and could give me the element model number and save me some time.

Google "RV Refrigerators rebuilt" and you will get about 10 hits of rebuilders (there aren't many) They may have new ones or can sell you one out of one they were unable to rebuild. An email to Dometic tech support will get you information as to if they are available from them.

There are a lot of dometic manuals in the document center. Get a part number from those and that will help your search.
I've got a guy sort of local that might have NOS, or another with used.

The model # might help too. I've got a PDF manual here that is not posted in the document center. It has a lot of models listed.

Spent quite a bit of time last night and found a reference to a model 211. Haven't had tome to look IR up yet. The one I have is a 2200A installed in 1986 casita. Will have to search some more tonight
