I've seen generic crank mechanisms in RV catalogs and Hehr sells replacements for there windows. Also Vintage Trailer Supply might be worth a look. Can you post a picture or the brand? Raz

These are the ones I got (if you mean this part) and they worked on a 75 Boler.

Just saw Raz had posted the same link - it's first thing in the am, I'm a little slow!

Thanks!! I used to have Vintage on my computor favorites till it crashed!!
I've ordered 3 (a spare) good price and word of mouth.
I'll post how I managed to remove the cranks without removing and disassembling the window. with pictures once I get the new cranks to install.

Ace has them here in California too, but don't know if they're in Canada. Also, many mobile home supply stores have them too. Of course ordering over the internet is the easiest route. Good luck.

Hey Guys, I received and installed the mechinisms to open the windows.
I put together a good pictorial in the thread "Theres a hole in my Boler"
in the Mod section post #119. This is easier than redoing the post here.
Although it is a slight mod, it's also a great problem solver. I never looked around the site this may be old news but saved me alot of work.

I'm sure I could act cranky about your windows if I put a mind to it... ...always glad to help out!
