New access door on Scamp installed

My husband installed the new access door on the Scamp with only minor setbacks (cutting in to the wheel well, having to notch the access door trim)

It looks great. I still couldn't talk him into installing it hinge down, but I think the little door props will work fine.

Congrats on the door. Best upgrade I ever installed.

Unfortunately, I have to offer that he was probably right. Hinge down will not only put extra stress on the latch and hinge but also expose your new port to the vagaries of rain and dribbling water.

Good for him. Give your ever lovin' props...

then use them.
