Hi there,

we're back after a year in Philadelphia. Put my 2005 Casita in storage for first time and just took it out. Now the refrigerator will not run on propane.

Stove top runs
propane water heater runs

My fridge has the electric controls and so i switch off automatic and switch on (so that gas is light goes on) gas. I hear the usual clicking sound and then the "check" light goes on. Have tried about 15 times. Seems to me that clicking only lasts 10 seconds and it was longer before.

Any ideas???? It is on warrenty so i'll take it in if must be. I want to leave on Saturday though.

Cool

We fixed it. Had to press on button in and hold it in til it made strange sound. Then it was reset and when we tried the gas button it clicked for about 40 seconds (like it use to). Second try and it lit. The instructions read Gas operation may be reset by pressing the main on/off button off and then on. It fails to mention holding the buttn in.

Thanks to all

Glad you fixed your problem!!

I'll be interested to see how your Dometic works on gas. Mine has always started right away but has a tendency to turn off (check light comes on after several hours). On my last trip, I must have restarted it a half dozen times during the day - very annoying.

I haven't called the manufacturer to try to figure out this yet - but it doesn't seem like it should be behaving like this normally.
