Thanks for sharing the picture. I wondered what it looked like. I had hoped it would extend farther up the door. No matter what I do, the bottom 12-15" of the door seems to get dirty. Road splash works its way in and the bottom curves out when the door is open. Thankfully, rat fur is cleanable, but an easy-wipe surface would be even better.

Does anybody know if that new black plastic/vinyl kick plate for the door is available on scamps website to order? The rat fur on the bottom of my door always gets damp and dirty. I have scamp's other rubber seal on (d shaped) and it works fine but only have that itty bitty corner piece of a kick plate on the door.

Can't seem to get on to their parts store tonight myself. Keeps coming up a blank page on the web.

The seal goes on the door frame, not the actual door. You have to remove the old foam gasket, making sure to get all of the adhesive off. That was the worst part of the process but it was definitely worth it, the new seal is so much better!
What did you use to remove the old adhesive and also to adhere the new seal?

I use a soft white cotton T-shirt material and Brakleen... then wipe it down with Isopropyl alcohol.
The gasket comes with self stick on the mounting surface which works well on a clean dry surface.
if you scrape at the old adhesive, use a plastic scraper, not metal.
