New member with problem

Hi I am new on here and may not be on the right link. We have some damage to the side of our fifth wheel that is going to have to be repaired we gouged the fiberglass side and it broke thru about 1/8th inch deep and we would like to know of anyone who has succrlessfully fixed something like that thank you

You might be better off trying to find a Jayco forum. This forum is mostly molded fiberglass trailers. Jayco uses fiberglass panels or some sandwich material. Different animal.

Hi..I just finished repainting the 5th wheel door, on my scamp, the easiest part is doing the fiberglass work... did the gouge penetrate the side? my suggestion would be go to a paint and body supply house, ask them for a marine type bondo like west marine has, the instructions on the 2 part system, are very clear, the most difficult is paint matching, some stores use a spectographic machine to match your paint, but they dont work, ask the women in the paint store to match the paint its ,never failed me Paul Smith Orlando fl
