This was an older camper at the time. We camped in it for years without incident until that time and another when a group decided to steal beer from the cooler while we were inside eating dinner. A side line to that last one - we actually met one of the kids later when he was grown up and we were talking about camping. He admitted it was him and his friends. Small world. He turned out well too in spite of his beer theft.
This is the biggest reason I won't camp in some locations except in off season. Here in Oregon I avoid the coast in the summer, because of misbehaving people. I understand the part of the Columbia River gorge is almost as bad. Oregon State Parks are very popular in the summer. I stay away from them. Summer week-ends are the worst. Out of the way places don't seem to have these kinds of problems.

My Fiber Stream came with a sticker on each side just above the wheel wells to remind me to tighten the lug nuts.

The kids may not have intended to hurt anyone, but they certainly wanted to create as much damage as possible.

Some kids have chucked rocks off of overpasses at the cars below, and people have been killed and injured. I'm sure they thought they were having fun. Teen brains just aren't fully developed yet (medically proven fact).
