No lockstrip?

We orderd new plexi windows for the front/back of our Boler, but the trim doesn't have lockstrips. It's supposedly self locking. The seller said that this is what people use on their RVs. Is there are specific reason why the Boler windows have to have lockstrip? I just want to make sure that we don't get the wrong stuff!

You can get both. Some have the lockstrip attached to the seal and is not separate. Do you have a pic of the seal you are going to buy. I used the separate lockstrip when i did mine. Purchased from a local auto glass place.
