Hi Patty,
The rail is 7' 1 1/2" long. The screws that hold the rail on must be quite short because they don't penetrate the inner shell.
best wishes!
Jeanne, thanks so much! I have to bring the camper to have the "winders" reinstalled & am going to see if the rv place will install the rail.

Thanks again, Patty

Thumbs up

Can I get more information on the mounting rail on the trailer. I have a double-walled UHaul, and would like an awning. Do they just attach the mounting rail to the camper with only short screws? Wouldn't the rail pull off in a big wind - can the screws be the only thing holding it on, or is there some type of glue or high-adhesive tape under the rail?
