old trillium stove knobs

Hello all,
I am trying to replace my trillium's stove knobs, as they have become broken and difficult to use.
I took the stove top off to check for a brand label and there isn't one. I don't know how to go about finding replacement knobs without having more info. on the brand of stove top this is.
As the trailer was made in Canada, what brand could it possibly be? Anyone know of a distributor of new or used parts? Just FYI, it is a three burner stove, and the knobs are approx. 2" across, with a shaft of 1/2".
Thanks!
Marjie

Do you have the spec sheet in your closet Marjie? It should list the brand of stove there.

ok i have no idea of what your stove is,,,but i think most knobs are sort of a universal size as the stove makers buy the valves,,,not make them.
check your local hardware store and you may find standard stove knobs fit perfectly.
if thats the case, and i believe it is, they saell them all over.
if not your local appliance repair guy can probably hook you up too.

Thanks for the idea Emily, I'll check my 4500 over the weekend. It is a 78 or 79.

Hi,
Thanks All!! Yes, Roy, what a brilliant idea, I did find the original owners manual in the overhead cabinet in a folder. It is a Brown stovetop, manufactured in Cleveland, Tennessee. AND, they are still in business.
I will try the local hardward stores, but in case that turns up nothing, the nice guy at Brown said he could help.
How easy was that?!
Marjie
