As for getting a bike in the back of a pickup, the best way to do is just ride it up the ramp into the back. This works especially well for dirt or dual sport bikes, but I've also done it with a suzuki GS1150 street bike. Its not for the beginner, but its easier than it sounds. The trick is to use as wide a ramp as you can (8-12" works) and have foot support boards on either side for guides. Also you need to go very straight and have a bit of momentum going up. I would practice it with as small a bike as you have but after a few runs you will have it down. Getting it out is even easier. Just sit on it and back it down holding your front break with your feet on the support boards.
