Opp's! Water Heater Issues..................

Well, I guess my winterizing didn't winterize so well..................


I have a split in the Hot water heater tank, so I have to replace it. And crawling around searching out the leak, I can see that the tank it's self is very rusty. Were it split, the encased styrofoam broke away and the tank looks rusted. So I am thinking I don't want to replace with the same product if the tank is rusty after only 3 years.


I am wondering if anyone knows of a better brand of hot water heater?

I am also wondering about putting in a "On Demand" hot water heater and if it would work in the Casita? Has anyone done so?

But any suggestions on Brands would be appreciated as well. Thanks!

Atwood water heaters have aluminum tanks and won't rust.
