Oxygen Owners attention

Hi
HAs anyone cut through wall at foot of bed?
Has anyone tried to open foot of bed to allow you to access the bed better? This crawling in on my knees is getting old ( so are the knees).
My thought was an opening maybe 10 inches wide, 3 ft long with a matching split in mattress. There are all kinds of structural concerns.
How has this been conquered?
thanks jean

As an oxygen owner now for 10 years I am still mortified at the thought of an individual even considering cutting their oxygen for any reason. I do not mean to offen with my comment. I just feel so strongly about both the originality and integrity of these wonderfully designed units. I've seen "rat trap" dyi awning attachments that obviously include the drilling of holes on the exterior (no disrespect to Antonious as they purchased their oxygen with the awning attached), air conditioning units installed when warning advisements recommend against this for integrity reasons. Seriously, if one is dissatisfied with certain aspects of their oxygen then find a unit more suited to your needs. There is also the consideration of resale value.
Sharing with the utmost respect.
