Packed to go - and broke cover!
We are all set for our first trip out in our 17' Casita Deluxe. Last thing before hooking up, we broke the plastic cover for the front exterior light. I cannot find a replacement on line at the Casita site or ebay - so I'm looking in the wrong spots. Has anyone out there replaced one? If so, where did you purchase the thing?

Search porch light cover on Amazon. They have them. But if I was in a hurry I'd use some 5 minute epoxy on it as a temporary fix and look for an RV store on the way. Even duct tape will do to keep the water out. Safe travels.

Thank you Raz. You always have an great answer. I found it on Amazon right away and a pack of two is ordered! Now the superglue attempt. :-)

I can't see from the photo what broke but if it is the clear acrylic pieces those are easily mended. You don't want superglue for mending clear acrylic. Instead you use a special thin glue that actually melts and welds the edges together creating a very strong bond that is nearly invisible.
You can buy this glue at hardware stores, hobby stores that specialize in model making, plastic suppliers, etc.

those solvent glues are called cements. they tend to be specific to the sort of plastic involved, so the cement for acrylic is not the same as the cmeent for polystyrene (plastic models), or the cement for PVC (plumbing, etc).
me, I'd just take the bulb out (so it can't be turned on accidentally and get hot), and put some gaffers tape over it to keep the weathter and dirt out of the light fixture, and worry about fixing it when you get home.
this is probably the right lens: https://www.amazon.com/Arcon-18106-C.../dp/B004RCSU6I

Thank Corbin and John — it has started raining — grrrrr! We are putting off the trip until it clears on Friday or Saturday and the amazon delivery should be here by then ! I’ve printed off the glue advice for the next breakage. Thank you for the help.

If you live in Washington and let rain deter you, you’ll never go anywhere. I know because I spent the first 40 years of my life there. My wife and I had our June wedding in the rain.

Have you checked an RV supply place? They usually have lots of different light covers.

Sounds like you have gotten good advice and have it solved...
I just wanted to commiserate a bit.
Wow, what a bummer!
Have a good trip when you go!

May I suggest next time you get TWO yellow ones. One for the front and the second one for the porch light. Save the clear one for a spare.
They are very inexpensive at a local RV center.

I grin every time I see the title... 'broke cover'. I think, you are lucky you're not pheasants, for which breaking cover can lead to a hailstorm of #7 pellets.

I use yellow/amber LEDs in mine, so the color of the window hardly matters
