My trailer rims are painted black & I would like to paint them white. Any suggestions on how I go about this would be appreciated. They are 13' rims.

Thank you, Patty

Simply sand them, then primer, then paint color of your choice.

Best to remove tires 1st.

Yep, that's exactly what I did - my rims were originally rusty black, I wire brushed them and then sprayed them with Tremclad rust paint. No chips or rust reappearing after a year. I didn't take of my tires (black on black) but I did tape them fairly well.

After wire brushing the rust I painted the rims with the same marine primer and finish [Brightsides] as the trailer.
So far....so good [second year now]
