The company you are complaining about doesn't have to be a member of BBB.
I just had my furnace at home replaced. I checked out the company ( which has been in business for more than 50 years ). They are not a BBB member, but BBB gives them an A+ rating, with no complaints reported.
So, anyone checking ParkLiner on the BBB site will discover that there are several unresolved complaints and I suspect the rating will be significantly lower than A+.

When a firm is not a member of the BBB, a complaint about that firm to the BBB is not likely to get very far. The BBB has no teeth to influence a non-member.

The lack of after-the-sale assistance is truly disappointing. Owners of a five-figure purchase should not be left to fend for themselves.

Do PL owners receive any written warranty? If so, and depending on its provisions, PL could be in breach of it.

I don't think BBB has any sharper teeth if the company is a member. What can they do? They report the complaints, try to resolve them and give them a rating.
Most they can do is refuse to let the company use the BBB logo ( and that doesn't stop some companies from using it without authorization ).
In any event, complaints to BBB are recorded and the existence of complaints appears on the BBB site, whether the company is a member or not.

This whole episode makes me very sad. I had such hopes for Parkliner. I've seen Thom's and Cari's and while it's not for me, I could thoroughly understand why others would be interested. Now.. not so much

LOL I suppose NOG is getting close enough to that time of year to be drinking it! But personally prefer to stick with Margaritaville theme when in the south.... anything south of the border is south to me!

Agree, what bothers me just a little about it all is that some of the issues they have had are getting high up there on the safety issue scale that one would think a manufacture might in good conscience do some serious follow up on. Was really shocked to read here they don't even have a data base for keeping track of who they sold the trailers to in order to do a recall. Seriously? Not sure how long someone could expect to stay in biz if thats honestly the situation.

Like you, There is another parkliner thread on cooked batteries, with smoke and children were inside the trailer. Didn't know if you saw it or not already, I see you recently registered. Like Mike, I also would like to know if parkliner owners get a paper document on the 2 yr warranty when you purchase or not? Thanks.

If there is such a document, I did not receive one. If any other PL owners did, perhaps they could post it here?

you know its kinda sad... by Chandler not fixing the problem and keeping up on it, it could eventually cost him his business. I can only imagine the money is going hand to mouth but not responding to customers who are haveing the same issue just makes people think that you dont care about the problem they are having.... so people will start spreading the word about the problems they have had with their ParkLiner.

Someone yesterday posted this on their FB page
"I have been dealing with an overheating battery/converter problem with my Park Liner since June. I can not seem to get anyone at Park Liner to send me the parts or return my calls. Do I need to bring my camper to your lot for repairs?"

not good signs... sad, they had alot of possibilities.

Mr. Palethorpe assured us that he was working on a 40+ page owner's manual for the ParkLiner that was "almost" finished and would contain all of the warranty information. Said manual would be mailed to all owners of record as soon as it was finished. This promise was made on April 3. As of this date, we have received nothing. A search of the parkliner.com website as well as their downloadable brochure yield no mention of warranty.

As it pours buckets for the first time in many weeks here on the Oregon Coast the "Margaritaville" and with it the typical sunshine, white sand, and palm trees sounds really nice!
