I had one and really liked it.. until a cat ruined the day with it.
I would get another, but I needed a room in an emergency this weekend. I went with the more traditional. (EZ twists seem to be mail order only!
The EZ twist was ez for me (Most times) and it gave good room and protection.
Some folks didn't find it so EZ, and I can see why. It needs lots of practice to get it twisted,. Once done tho, it's great.

Ah, once upon a time, Benita posted a hilarious account of her attempts to subdue the Playhut.
Then CarolnJim posted a rebuttal, with step by step photos of their fold-up method.
All lost last fall when our site was hacked, though...

Does the phrase "gerbil in a plastic ball" conjure up an image for you?

We bought one, but don't use it much. Collapsing it for storage is kind of a challenge, but not impossible. Kinda small. You just have to decide whether you want to zip yourself into one to avoid bugs and mosquitos. Our Casita has screens and a screen door, so we go inside to avoid insects.

Got one and I love mine. I sewed a floor in it. Last weekend I was enjoying it on Tampa Bay at Fort Desoto Park.

Got one. It's 8'x8' and came with a floor. I really like it but there is a reason it's not called EZ UP and DOWN.

If anyone is interested .. I would be happy to post, again, the way Jim and I fold the screen room up... with photos...
P.S.
Hi Jack.... I'm still laughing and as you can tell, I changed my wording.

It sounds like posting some pictures would be a great idea if you could. Are these things pretty durable?

Yeah, post 'em, Carol. But, it won't be the same without Benita's "introduction."
At least I think it was Benita's...

We would always have a group watching and laughing as we folded the screen room.
Here's our solution for folding the screen room. Works great...
Photo 1 Screen Room
#2... One person holds a back brace while someone pushes
the opposite brace from the front.
#3... Fold in half
#4... Turn upside down and step on blue material
#5... Bend towards you
#6... It will fold - grab two sides and push into circles
#7... Fold and place in mesh bag
I hope this helps.

I was beginning to worry about where this family-oriented website was about to go. Your photos cleared that up quite nicely!

Thanks for the great pictures! You make it look so easy. If I end up getting one, we'll have to see how easy it is for me. What size is your tent by the way 72" or 96"?

Thanks Dave ...
We have the smaller screen room 6 x 6 .. works fine for us. We can seat 4 plus a small table.. and 6 if we are real cozy, (no table), but safe from bugs. This one is all we need and the bigger one would really be a problem to fold up.
