Professional Restoration

I seem to remember a post about a couple of reputable facilities that can do professional restoration on FGRVs. As I recall both were on the West Coast. I cannot find the post with searches so I'll ask.

Our 1991 Bigfoot 17' Gaucho model, in which we live several months of the year and just returned from an East Coast - West Coast - Alaska - East Coast trip, has some issues that I do not want to tackle myself.

-Gelcoat cracks, many of them, and a soft spot on the roof
-Soft floor
-Wood strips between body and frame falling out

I would go looking for a replacement trailer in better condition but I have too much time and money invested in mods [solar, battery box, upgraded axle, rock guard supports, various interior mods] to want to start that process again. Besides, after years of fiddling finally I have the refrigerator working well.

I know this will not be cheap. That's OK. I just want to find someone who can do the work right. One stop shopping would be great.

Any thoughts?

"The Canned Ham Man" restoration shop in Riverside, CA does both sticky as well as FGRV restorations. They are currently doing a frame up restoration on a 13' SCAMP.

About 3 miles from my house, great peeps.

Here is their website address: <<<thecannedhamman.com>>>

Here's the 1978 Scamp in progress: http://thecannedhamman.com/cp_-_Scamp.php

I don't think too much of their window choices. IMHO looks like something out of a sticks 'n bricks house!
