Propane stove fittings.

Hi,
Got great help from you people before.
I have a 1972 Boler that I am working on. I bought a brand new stove and got the brass pipe and fittings made up. It has brass flared fittings. I bought the yellow Teflon tape to apply to the threads. A message on the tape package says "not for use with flare Threads". The stove instructions did not mention tape.
Should I use Teflon tape on the fittings.
Thanks
Lionel

You should be using a flared fitting, not ferrules and no Teflon tape.

The first picture is a correct for gas flare fitting. The second picture is a ferrule used for household plumbing.
