Someone please tell me what that pump switch in the bathroom for? It does not control the water in there, the one by the galley does, so what is it for?
Pump water BACK to the gray water tank from the shower My 1988 doesn't have one, the shower pan is higher than the tank, so it just drains back via gravity. The downside, the height of the shower isn't as tall.

Someone please tell me what that pump switch in the bathroom for? It does not control the water in there, the one by the galley does, so what is it for?
This switch is to pump water back to the gray water tank and it's only about a 2 gpm pump... meaning slow. It's also extremely easy to plug the thing so it doesn't work. It is fairly easy to clean but I have found that if a strainer/filter is placed between the shower pan and the pump you can eliminate this problem and save a lot of time trying to clean/unplug the pump. If it is working it should make a gurgling sound... no sound and it is probably plugged.
