I sleep on the bottom bunk regularly & comfortably. Width is fine. Length is barely adequate (I 'm 5'8"). Headroom with top bunk in place is limited, but I can turn over without my shoulders bumping the top bunk, so I'm good. It's not for tall, heavy, or claustrophobic people. Think Navy bunks.
Top bunk is for kids only. There is no published
weight limit, but I wouldn't go much over 100#. I did test it myself (160#) before I let my daughter sleep on it - no creaks or signs of collapse, but 100# seems to be the general consensus here. You'll need to rig up a safety rail. Don't know why
Scamp doesn't provide one, but lots of good ideas on this site for how to do it.
