This seems totally silly to even ask...I'm buying a 1998 17' Spirit DL. What size sheets does the rear dinette take? I'm told it's not as long or as wide as a queen--so does that mean double? I just want to buy the right size!

I use kings, from an old waterbed we used to have. They're stitched together along the bottom, so I find it easier to make up the bed. (Easier is a relative term.) We keep an imitation feather bed on top of our Casita cushions. I expect a fitted queen sheet would work just fine to cover it all... I also expect a full would do the same. (The bed is NOT a standard size; besides being a little shorter and a little bit narrower, remember the two corners along the back of the trailer are quite rounded.)

Hope this bit of rambling helps!

The rear bed in the SD is a standard double size. We use a double bed foam mattress from WalMart with double bed fitted sheet. It is a perfect fit (the corners are squished) for the SD rear bed. As Mary F says, Joyce also stitched the top sheet to the bottom sheet at the foot to make it easier to make.

Thank you both for your advice. I figure I'll put an egg crate on top of it, just as I do at home. Glad to know my double bed bottom sheets will work! I don't use regular flat sheets, I have washable cotton duvets for my comforters, which makes bedmaking much easier.
