Rear bed extension

I saw a posting the other day regarding how to put an extension onto the rear bed to make it larger. I cannot seem to locate it. Would someone mind redirecting me to it? After a 10 day trip with a 5 and two year old sleeping together with me on the bed, I've realized that it's far too small for all of us. And they are going to be bigger and taller next year!!!

talk is of building a bed whilst sacrificing kitchen, or double-deckering big bed, or using a tent!
