I had my Surfside reinforced too. the ride is so much better now that the bounce is gone. I'll post some pics if I think of it before the snow flies

Hello All,
Here is a shot of the repair/reinforcement on my 1978 Trillium 1300.
There is also a small plate welded to the bottom of the frame in the weak area.
