Recommendation for attaching seals

All-

I was wondering if someone might point me in the right direction. I have a 84 Uhaul CT13. What is a good product for attaching the center seam and new door seal. Would the proflex stuff work, or is that just for sealing, etc. Thanks in advance for any tips.

The Trim Loc has metal splines in the center and it should just press on with no adhesive. When I did mine, I did use butyl caulk on the ends to keep them in place. I taped them until it cured.

I put proflex on the top of the fiberglass point all the way down, then pressed the trim on it tight. So far sticking very well.

I used Proflex all the way down from the roof vent to the front window because I found some flaws in the seam where water was leaking in. But I was just reinstalling the original trim loc. Proflex would probably work OK on the door seal. or an automotive weatherstrip adhesive like 3M 08001 which is yellow in color, also available in black I believe but may be a slightly different part #. I used the 3M to install new door weatherstrip on my 76 pickup several years ago and it's still holding.
