Removal/installation of jalousie windows

I have a 76 trillium that I want to remove the jalousie windows from, replace one of the glass pieces & polish them up. Then reinstall.
My question is has anyone done this & if so any advice or videos?
Cheers

Although my trailer is a Boler I have done exactly what you are asking, removed the windows, polished all the aluminym and reinstalled.
I have created 2 videos which may help you, one is on dissassembly of the window. The second video is how I polished the door hinges. The same polishing process applies to the windows EXCEPT the mill and extruded aluminum used on the windows does NOT neeed grinding or sanding, you can go directly to the polishing wheel.

That's great thanks so much! Did you end up reusing the rubber seals (J channel)? What sort of seal is there against the Fiberglass? I haven't even started taking them out yet but would like to have an idea of materials I'll need to reinstall them!

Use new seals, they are available through Vintage Trailer Supply, links are provided below. When installing the windows use Butyl Tape.

If you are interested there are a number of posts on my thread on the before and after while I was polishing the various parts.

I am looking for a new window for my 1973 boler. The window that is in looks like a retro fit...and its been puttied over and is kinda falling apart. Its a left to right slider so Im assuming its a kinda mod as I dont think Boler made these kind of windows.

Yes to new seals, but not necessarily the same parts.

Double check the diagrams /photos to what you actually have. Many suppliers will sell you small samples.
