Removeable water tank?

Has anyone used a portable water container and a hand pump to route water to the counter top sink? A friend recently gave me a hand pump - I usually take a 5 gallon square water container with a spout when I tent camp. Any reason I can't run a line from the hand pump to the portable water reservoir with a check valve in the line to pump water to the sink?

thanks

Cat

Nope. It should work fine.

When I bought my Scamp, the water tank had been removed. I mounted a 4 gallon 'jerry' type plastic water can under the sink. The handpump hose goes in the top. And it's easy to lift out to fill.

I use an external water container that feeds an electric water pump. You could use the exact same set-up for a manual pump
It uses brass quick connects which make it very easy to use.
Works excellent.

Sweet, even insulated. You could have hot or ice water.

Yes a block of ice keeps it cold for several days
