I thought I'd update in case this helps anyone. A floor installer I know suggested mineral spirits, he said he's used it lots on carpet glue on vinyl. It took me about an hour to get rid of it and it's done a really great job. It wasn't super easy and I wish I'd brought better tools with me (like a spray bottle and brush). Now I just have to get the rest of it cleaned up. Any recommendations? I used a bit of bleach in water before for the rest of it, but I wonder if anything else works better?
